Well, it’s not very informative, but it is entertaining. And there’s not much else going on while we wait for the drop of INNERSPEAKER!

That’s right. Tame Impala has released the name of their album with a post on modular’s website, which you can find here near the bottom of the page. The album name is INNERSPEAKER. Pretty sweet, right? It’s expected to be released around March. Combined with Jack White promising a new Dead Weather album, The Black Keys announcing a new record this year, Fionn Regan’s sophomore album also in March, and an unreleased Jimi Hendrix album coming out, 2010 is looking like a good year in the music world!

And on a small side note, I just discovered that Tame had a twitter… now I know what you’re thinking, you’re thinking “Mr. Dude-Who-Posts-On-This-Site, you should be on top of these things!” I know, I know… but it just slipped my mind that they had ever made a Twitter… oh well, I’ve found it now. In case any of you don’t know their account, you can find it at http://www.twitter.com/tameimpala. In fact, they just posted a tweet with their album name! So, go follow them! NOW!

Hello again, folks! Well, via Facebook posts, I’ve learned that Tame Impala has talked with the Big Day Out management and they have posted a short article/blog on Big Day Out’s website about Tame Impala! It’s not very long, but interesting. You can read it by clicking the link here.

And in that article, Dom Simper revealed that their full-length debut album will be released in March! Hooray! Everyone can leap for joy now.

This is a short update, but a pretty important one too. Well, it depends… this might interest you, or you might not care, Regardless, here’s the update:

I know that I personally have looked for a Tame Impala T-Shirt for a very long time. I live in the US, so I have to search online for one, considering they’ve never come to play a show here; and until now, there had been no official shirts for sale, ANYWHERE.

Well, right now, there are actually some official t’s for sale at Modular’s website! Woo! After Tame Impala’s Sundown Syndrome tour, there must’ve been lots of shirts left over and not sold. So, Modular is now selling the remainder of the shirts online at their site. And they ship to not only Aus, but the US and UK as well. So go picke one up!
